New Website for Zouk Restaurant

We have recently designed and built a content managed website for Zouk Tea Bar and Grill in Bradford and Manchester. The system is fully controlled by Zouk so they can update price changes, photos, or news stories whenever they need to. Also included is a Restaurant diary booking system so people can book through the website in complete confidence that the booking will happen.

We have just completed new Branding a new website for Phillip Shannon Photography in Leeds. Based around an orange circle – meant to be a viewfinder – will strengthen Phills brand around the Yorkshire area. The website is a content managed system for Phills portfolio with a javascript photo gallery. We have also included blog pages, and other SEO (search engine optimisation) techniques.

New Packaging for Scottish and Southern

We have recently just completed a Savasocket packaging project for Scottish and Southern Electrity who are taking the product to sell to their customers. Savasocket is a device that can save on average Â£37 a year just by cutting out standby time on TV devices. The device learns the infrared signal from one remote control, and then turns off every device that is connected to the Savasocket, you can also select devices that need to stay on (Sky boses etc) – it is clever, and that is why it won a Grand Designs design award, and even appeared on Dragons Den. Logo Evolution

It’s interesting to see how to see how the big corporations develop their logos over time, They all seem to develop to fit in with the fashion of the time, whilst retaining an element of history throughout. The success of some brands can be seen when they feel it can stand to lose the text in a logo, see Nike and Apple. Most examples here operate the evolution, not revolution technique which retains existing brand values, see BMW. The Google brand philosophy remains the same, however the typography changes with the time. Pepsi has 2 distinctive brand movements, although they merge in the 50′s. Apple start from somewhere strange, and move to a simple icon we all recognise today. BMW play a safe hand throughout with a few typographical changes. Nike has the confidence to remove the word Nike and rely on the famous swoosh. Sony (like Google) retain the value of their brand name with simple typographic treatments.
