Zouk opens in ASDA

After a lot of hard work Bradford based Zouk Deli has opened a concession within ASDA at Small Heath in Birmingham. The launch was a great success, and sales have been excellent. We designed all Back board graphics, Pentics, Menus, Posters and takeaway boxes for the launch. See pics of the launch event below.

We have recently designed and built a content managed website for Zouk Tea Bar and Grill in Bradford and Manchester. The system is fully controlled by Zouk so they can update price changes, photos, or news stories whenever they need to. Also included is a Restaurant diary booking system so people can book through the website in complete confidence that the booking will happen.

New Design Guidelines

I recently completed a re-branding project for a Spread Betting company in London in partnership with We Are. The way to getting your brand right is exercised through a design guidelines document setting parameters as to what you can, and can’t do with the brand. This will cover off Colours, Typography, Imagery, Logotype (creation and management) this should always be adhered to, but should never stifle creative input because there is a danger that your brand will become too strict, boring and stayed. You basically create the framework for your brand to live and breath.

A good brand guidelines document should give the brand room to breath in the future, to accommodate new ideas, and new strategies. They should not be seen as a straight jacket, more of a comfortable smart top you feel proud to wear at home or in a restaurant.

EPILEPSY ACTION MAGAZINE

I have recently designed a magazine called Take Action for Epilepsy Action. The 8 page mailer was targeted at specific markets to 1. Raise awareness, and 2. Improve donation rates for the charity. Epilepsy Action were delighted with Take Action, and the roll out will be throughout the spring and summer of 2010. The creative is designed to be like a magazine aimed at women between 30 – 50 and is already getting a good response.

New Photographer’s Website

We have just completed new Branding a new website for Phillip Shannon Photography in Leeds. Based around an orange circle – meant to be a viewfinder – will strengthen Phills brand around the Yorkshire area. The website is a content managed system for Phills portfolio with a javascript photo gallery. We have also included blog pages, and other SEO (search engine optimisation) techniques.

New Icon for Photographer

I have just created a new Icon for a London Photographer called Prince Singh. The brief was to create a new typographic based brand with 2 letters intertwining. The letters were formed out of original scribblings in the note pad, then they were scanned into Adobe Photoshop, then they were brought into Illustrator where the vector drawing was created. here are a couple of other rejected scriblings

Eventually after tweaking a few bits here and there we came to a final brand that we were all happy with.

New Website and Branding for Friends Provident

I have created a new brand and website for Friends Provident in conjunction with the Tech Dept in Sheffield. Visions of Britain 2020 is a few of working in Britain in 10 years time. It is to be used over the next year to deliver research findings in the workplace. Set across 3 aspects of work life – Employment, Ageing and retirement, Health and well being.
